Cooperative Extension Outreach Education-responsible for providing program support, training, development of educational materials in the areas of Nutrition, Health, and Wellness. Additionally responsible for the state coordination of the EFNEP (Extension Food and Nutrition Education Program) Program in Cochise, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal and Santa Cruz counties. Also coordinates the state Arizona Nutrition SNAP-ed Nutrition Education Program for nine participating extension counties and providing referral to local agencies. Responsible for quarterly and annual reports to USDA and AZ Health Zone for the respective programs. Primary target audience is low income adults and youth, and mothers of young children.
