Program Coordinator
Frances Holguin is the Program Manager for the University of Arizona Pima County Cooperative Extension Family Engagement Program which provides financial literacy, professional development, and parent education throughout Pima County. Parenting topics include Child Behavior Management, Brain Development, Pax Tools, and Positive Discipline to name a few. The Financial literacy program uses Purdue University Where Does Your Money Go curriculum to support the community with values and beliefs around finances. The professional development program utilized is Empowering People in the Workplace in order to improve climate and culture in work environments. She also provides collaborative connections with community partners, needs assessments, and ensures programs are delivered to fidelity. Frances has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor is Sociology from the University of Arizona College of Science. She is currently in her Master's program with Arizona State University, School of Social Work and is currently in her Practicum.
