Avik supports the research effort focused on integrated pest management (IPM), their natural enemies in Alfalfa, and the impacts of environmental and climate change. This includes the integration of problem-solving research and educational activities to improve the economic efficiency of alfalfa production systems in the desert. He is also working on developing hydroclimatic tools towards effective extension and applied research in alfalfa IPM in Arizona and in the Western US.
