Integrated Pest and Disease Management
Cochise, Graham, Santa Cruz Counties
This page focuses on diseases, pests, and weed management using integrated management approaches (IPM) that will minimize the negative impact on the environment, field workers, and consumers. Plant pathology and IPM laboratories are available and active at the University of Arizona campus for collaborations and in assisting in identifying the specific insect, weed, or disease pathogen that may be negatively impacting crops. The IPM includes invasive species management. Please go to the Arizona Plant Diagnostics Network (AZDPN) to learn more and to find instructions for submitting samples. Click here for that access. The Arizona Pest Management Center housed at the Maricopa Agricultural Center is also an invaluable resource for information in IPM. Click here for that access.
