January is the time to plant your roses to give them the best chance at giving you the incredible blooms of your dreams. Master Gardener Kris Christensen will show you how to select, plant and maintain your incredible rose garden for the best results.
Ensure your roses have what it takes to produce two fabulous full-color shows each year by learning how and when to:
• Select and plant new roses whether bare root or potted;
• Enrich the soil foundation for healthy roses;
• Feed/fertilize roses;
• Irrigate roses;
• Understand the 12-month cycle for rose maintenance in the low desert;
• Prune roses to encourage flower production.
