2023 Arizona 4-H Summit

About Summit

At Arizona 4-H Summit, our goal is to help provide teens with an environment in which they can explore what they are passionate about and learn how to take the next steps toward creating a future around that passion. Summit is an experience for Arizona 4-H teens to build problem-solving skills, practice putting innovative ideas into action, and an opportunity to explore future careers. It offers a creative space for teen leaders ages 14-18 to ignite and grow their unique spark.

Arizona 4-H Summit is supported by Arizona Farm Bureau, Bayer Crop Science, and other generous donors to the Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation.

One Health and Water

At Summit, the One Health theme creates opportunities for youth with diverse interests across the four pillars of 4-H: Agriculture, Citizenship, Healthy Living, and STEM. This year we will look at how water is related to One Health and the four pillars of 4-H. Every Arizona 4-H'er has a valuable perspective to share, so we hope you join us at Summit!

The Wildcat Experience

For many 4-H youth, Summit is an introduction to college life at the University of Arizona. Participants live in residence halls, collaborate in classrooms, and visit campus landmarks. Arizona 4-H partners with the Office of Admissions to help youth envision their path to joining the Wildcat family. Through collaboration with the Office of Student Engagement & Career Development, Summit participants also learn about careers in agriculture and beyond.

Registration Info

Scholarships may be available from your county to help pay for Summit! Submit your application for Tractor Supply Paper Clover funds to your county office for approval. Many county Leaders' Councils also offer scholarships for events like Summit, so ask the staff at your county office for more information.

When you sign up for Summit, your registration is held to allow 4-H staff to process any scholarships you might be receiving. Once we receive this information, your registration will be approved and you will receive an email with information about paying whatever fee remains.
