Spring Level 1 Shooting Sports Training
When: April 8-10
Where: James 4-H Camp. Participants will stay at the James 4-H Camp is located in the Mingus Mountains outside of Prescott, Arizona. Attendees can find the camp using Google Maps and by searching James 4-H Campe and Outdoor Learning Center, Dewey AZ 86327. Maps are linked below. Service is unavailable for part of the drive so be sure to search for the location prior to leaving cell coverage.

Registration Fees and break downs: All meals and lodging are included in the registration fee (One discipline Friday/Saturday $100, two disciplines Friday/Sat/Sun $150).
One Discipline $100: Will be trained in one discipline, including dinner on Friday, breakfast & lunch on Saturday, as well as lodging on Friday night
Two Disciplines $150: Will be trained in two disciplines, including dinner on Friday and Saturday, lunch on Saturday, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and lodging on Friday and Saturday night.
Payment: Please make your check or money order payable to The University of Arizona and mail it to the Arizona 4-H State Office with your name, county, and phone number noted on the check.
Your payment must be in the state office by April 4th. No late registrations will be accepted due to printing requirements and food contracts.

CANCELLATIONS: Registration fees, minus a $50.00 processing fee, will be refunded to the applicant if a cancellation notice is received before March 31st, 2022. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations received after March 31st, 2022.
Certification information: Participants will be able to certify in two disciplines over the weekend.
Disciplines Offered: Archery Pistol Rifle
To be eligible to participate, you must be a certified 4-H leader or have started the process with your county 4-H staff.
Friday, April 8 - Participants arrive 7 pm. Dinner and AZ 4-H specific shooting sports policy review. Late arrivals can complete this part of the training virtually if needed.
Saturday, April 9 - Breakfast @ 7:30, break into disciplines for morning training. Lunch @ 12. Break into disciplines for final practice, and teaching practicums. Participants only being certified in one discipline will be dismissed @ 5 pm. Dinner @ 6 pm
Sunday, April 10 - Breakfast @ 7:30, break into disciplines for morning training. Lunch @ 11. Break into disciplines for final practice, and teaching practicums. Final debrief 2:30 PM, training complete @ 3:00 PM.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY FIREARMS WITH YOU TO THE TRAINING.
