Basic seed starting, cuttings, and division techniques are all great ways to quickly expand and multiply your garden and at lower personal cost. Watching and caring for your own plant starts is both rewarding and fun. Join Maricopa County Master Gardener Program Coordinator Beth Reidhead as she walks you through plant propagation and helps you gain confidence in using these methods in your own home gardens and landscapes.

Beth Reidhead has worked as a Master Program Coordinator with Cooperative Extension for 2.5 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Applied Biology- Sustainable Horticulture. Beth has propagated plants during her classes at ASU, currently runs the Master Gardener Propagation Clinics to educate Master Gardeners of propagation techniques, and continues to practice propagation at home.
