Did you know that pruning can do as much harm as good? Proper pruning keeps your plants healthy and beautiful, but poor pruning can cause stress or damage to your plants. Good pruning practices can also save you water and energy. If you are unsure that you are pruning correctly, put down the pruning shears, shelve that chain saw and sign up for this class taught by certified aborist Steve Priebe.

Instructor: Steve Priebe
Steve has a bachelors and masters degree in Botany from Eastern Illinois University and was a horticulturist for the Desert Botanical Garden and the City of Phoenix. He now teaches plant biology for Mesa Community College. He is a certified arborist and has served on the leadership level for the Arizona Community Tree Council. He continues to train new arborists through the Council.
