When
2026 All-Ages Multi Discipline Qualifier Match
Arizona 4-H Shooting Sports will be selecting our 2027 State Shooting Team members during the upcoming all-ages and senior qualifier match taking place 16-18 October 2027 at the Northern Arizona Shooting Range located near Flagstaff, Arizona. In addition to the all-ages fun match being conducted, the top four senior division competitors in smallbore rifle, smallbore pistol, muzzleloading, hunting skills, archery, western heritage and shotgun will be invited to represent Arizona at the 4-H National Championships in June 2027, along with our top four air pistol and air rifle competitors who were determined during the state air match that was held in September 2026.
All 4-H shooting sports project members are encouraged to come out to compete and enjoy the weekend with likeminded enthusiasts. Free, dry (no water available or electricity), primitive camping is available at the range Friday through Sunday. Note that there is a hardstand bathroom available on site. Please check the camping box when registering so we have an approximate idea of what our camper numbers are going to be.
Regular registration is open on Z-Suites now through 30 September 2026. The cost to register is $40 per competitor, plus $20 if you choose to compete in shotgun (payable on site, cash only, please). Note that the cost to register is fixed. All competitors are encouraged to compete in three disciplines, even if their focus has been mainly on one over the past year. You might surprise yourself competing in something outside your norm!
Competitors are encouraged to check-in and complete equipment inspection on Friday, 16 October 2026, in order to avoid potential long lines early Saturday morning. Those who check in on Friday are also welcome to participate in free practice beginning at approximately 3pm Friday.
