Copper State Livestock Judging Series

Each Contest is to consist of 8 classes and 4 sets of reasons/questions. 1 class of market and 1 class of breeding per species (Beef, Swine, Sheep, Goats)

3 Divisions will be offered

Junior Questions (8-13)

Senior Questions (>14)

Reasons (Open to all ages)

Both 4-H and FFA teams/individuals are welcome to participate and membership in any organization is required for participation. When enrolled, participants must be members in good standing in either organization. Members from both organizations will compete together in the same divisions for the Series. However, local events may offer awards for members separately. 

Awards

After each contest:

Banner for High Individual (HI) per age division

Ribbons for 2-5 per age division

Banner for HI for each species plus reasons/questions

Ribbons for 2-5 for each species plus reasons/questions

Awards will be received after each contest with a larger set of prizes to be awarded after completion of the circuit.

                                                                                   End of Year Awards

Final standings will be calculated on an average. To be eligible for end of the year awards an individual must attend a minimum of 3 contests. The individual would also need to register in the Copper State Livestock Judging Series, not just the individual contests. 

Awards will include:

Buckle + Banner for HI per age division

Banner for top 5 per age division

Buckle for HI for each species plus reasons/questions

Banners for top 5 for each species and reasons division. 

An Award will be given to every individual who completes all contests in the circuit
