Cochise County Cooperative Extension - Building Healthy Communities

Liza Quinones, MS - Community Lead
Liza Quinones is a Senior Program Coordinator with the Building Healthy Communities Project at University of Arizona Cooperative Extension. She works mostly with the citizen-led Healthy Communities Committees in Western Cochise County, partnering with them to provide technical assistance and resources to ensure that they can achieve their committee health goals.

Cheyenne MacMasters - Garden and Food Pantry
Cheyenne MacMasters is the Garden and Food Pantry Instructional Specialist Coordinator with the Building Healthy Communities Project at the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension. She partners with schools and communities throughout Cochise County to start and support gardens and food pantries. Her office is currently in the Old Bisbee High School next to the Cochise County Superintendent’s office at 100 Clawson Avenue, soon to be at Melody Lane.

Joseph Sepp Sprietsma - School Liaison and Community Outreach
Joseph (Sepp) Sprietsma is the School Liaison with the Building Healthy Communities Project at University of Arizona Cooperative Extension. Sepp collaborates with the School’s Health Advisory Councils to support and expand school wellness and health policies. He also supports community engagement and leadership training throughout Cochise County. He has been working with The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Building Healthy Communities Project since October 2018.
