School Gardening offers Workshops for Educators throughout academic year. We assist with on-site school garden development and lesson plans. We coordinate Guest Speakers in the classroom presentation or after-school student gardening club. All participating teachers will have access to our Ag-In-the-Classroom resources, many are written by Arizona Certified Teachers with Arizona Academic Standards. School Gardening participating teachers will also learn about volunteer recruitment, media contact, and fundraising strategies which will help enhance and sustain continue effort for their school gardening program.
All educators participating with School Gardening Program will earn credits for Continue Education Units (for your teaching certification), as approved by Mohave County School Superintendent, Mr. Michael File.
