Chaperone Training

This program is a self-guided, web-based training program required for any 4-H volunteer who wants to be a 4-H chaperone. The PowerPoint program presents the qualification and expectations for serving as a 4-H chaperone as well as selected vignettes. Advice is provided for dealing with bullying, hazing and other challenging behaviors that chaperones may confront. Completing this training is required before 4-H volunteers can serve as chaperones for groups of young people attending 4-H events and activities.
President and Vice President Handbook

This guide is for your 4-H Club’s President or Vice President. It is important to support youth leaders take on the honor and responsibility of serving as a club officer. As a volunteer it is important to communicate clear expectations that a President and Vice President should be a positive representative of their club, and the Arizona 4-H program throughout the state of Arizona. Additionally, support the President and Vice President service will have many different duties. They will be expected to plan and preside over the club meeting with the Club leaders support, and the President and Vice President will need to delegate responsibilities.
Treasurer Handbook

This guide is for your 4-H Club Treasurer. It is an important educational experience that a 4-H Club Treasurer has an authentic role in supervising club finances. As the club’s treasurer, they are responsible for taking care of the club’s money and bank accounts. Most importantly, they are in charge of “keeping the books” (that is, your club’s receipt book, checkbook and check register, payment vouchers and bank statements). This responsibility requires working closely with the Club Leader.
Secretary Handbook

This guide is for your 4-H Club Secretary. It is an important educational experience that a 4-H Club Secretary has an authentic role in managing club documents and recording meeting minutes. As the club’s secretary, they are responsible for taking care of the club’s correspondence and taking club meeting minutes. This responsibility requires working closely with the Club Leader.
