Happy Friday! Did you know that Smith-Lever Act of 1914 established the Cooperative Extension through which Congressman A. F. Lever of South Carolina "hope[d] sincerely that a large share of this money will be devoted to an expansion of the work with young folks". That means our 4-H clubs are very important and essential to our organization. For more history on 4-H, visit the National 4-H History Website.
