Arizona Master Gardeners are university-trained volunteers who serve as community educators. They work with the University of Arizona providing research based information on environmentally responsible gardening and landscaping to the public. After completing a semester long course, concentrating on gardening and the environment, Master Gardeners Associates volunteer to serve their communities. Master Gardening is all about public education. For more information see Becoming a Master Gardener.
Come let a Master Gardener volunteer lead you through the beautiful demonstration gardens maintained by Master Gardeners! Master Gardeners hold free one-hour guided tours of the gardens at the Pima County Cooperative Extension office on Campbell Avenue on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays and Saturdays of the month at 9:00am. If you have a group over 8 or would like to schedule a tour at a different time, please contact Francine Correll at 626-5161.
