Land Use Planning and Sustainable Development is a program to assist Arizona's residents, developers, ranchers and public officials to grapple with land use and development issues in the state's changing rural landscapes.
Recently, the National Network for Sustainable Living Education (NNSLE), a network of Extension professionals from around the country, including University of Arizona Cooperative Extension faculty Mark Apel and Erik Glenn, completed work on an online course called "Living Sustainably – It's Your Choice" hosted by eXtension. This course is free of charge and designed for anyone who may be hearing a lot about sustainability, but has had no formal introduction to the topic.
