Phenology, also known as nature’s calendar, is the study of life cycle changes in plants and animals. It includes leafing and flowering of plants, emergence of insects, and migration of birds.

Learn about the science of phenology and how it relates to changing environmental conditions.

This five-hour workshop will:
• Provide an introduction to the science of phenology
• Demonstrate how to use Nature's Notebook for making and recording phenology observations
• Prepare you to set up observation sites to be a citizen scientist
