Maricopa County - Master Watershed Steward Program

After an exciting win at the Valley Forward Environmental Excellence Awards on September 29th, the Master Watershed Steward class of 2012 began on October 4th. This year's class is an impressive bunch of dedicated individuals. Upon completion of the training, Stewards will each volunteer 40 hours in their communities to implement projects and educate others. These highly trained volunteers spend numerous hours learning about water resources in Maricopa County including water quality, riparian areas, groundwater, and surface water management.
