As the Population of La Paz County grows and becomes more diversified, horticulture is becoming an increasingly important part of La Paz County Cooperative Extension. There are now trained Master Gardeners in all parts of the county to address horticultural questions. Master Gardeners provide research based answers to horticulture questions in what may be the most difficult area in the country to grow plants. They have to be good… and they are. Be sure to contact us with any plant questions you may have.
La Paz County Cooperative Extension's very own Lyle Browning has been working very hard with Master Gardener volunteers (especially Don Alamban) on the new educational garden located next to Le Pera School. CRIT Farms, Buckelew Farms and other valley enterprises have contributed equipment, materials and time to make sure that this project is a success. For more information contact Lyle at 928-669-9843.
