The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Tucson Village Farm is inviting teachers, parents and kids to an upcoming conference called LIME (Learn, Inspire, Move and Eat). The LIME Conference will beheld on January 21, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The conference will include a large variety of workshops focused on nutrition, healthy food preparation,culinary skills, gardening and fitness education.
Registration is required and is now open. Visit LIMEConference.org to register and find detailed workshop information. The cost for adults(12 and up) is $20 and kids (6-11) are $10. It is recommended that only kids age 6 and up attend. Lunch is included in the cost and will be provided by Renee's Organic Oven. The Tucson Village Farm is a program of the University of Arizona's Cooperative Extension.
