Kitt develops extension education programs in cooperation with county faculty and their clientele including county, state, and federal agency staff, local public officials, elementary and secondary teachers, farmers, and ranchers. The objectives of Kitt's education programs are to:
enable clientele to develop and improve their skills and understanding of water quality;
assist county faculty and agency staff as they define and conduct applied research to solve clientele problems, as they relate to water quality; and
support state and county level environmental regulators by developing materials for dissemination to their clientele, as they relate to water quality, and more specifically to onsite wastewater management.
