Indian Country Extension differs from traditional County Extension in many aspects. The Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program (FRTEP) provides extension programming to previously underserved Indian Reservation communities by designing programs that are culturally sensitive and respectful of tribal sovereignty.  For more information regarding the FRTEP program click on the "Indian Country Extension" button of the left side of this page.
