A partnerships and collaboration with several agriculture and natural resources organizations in Northeastern Arizona allowed Apache County to establish a Weed Management Area. Workshops in weed management educate the public about noxious and invasive weed impact.  Apache County Extension also conducts classes on tree care, gardening and soil testing.
