You will learn about tackle, different casting methods, how your actions affect the fishing environment and all about fishing skills. You will learn about different baits, and how to care for fish from time you catch it until it is on the table. You will learn how to bait, cast, tie fishing knots, make a fly wallet, tie an artificial fly, and apply fish senses to fishing success. You continue to learn how to disassemble and reassemble a fishing reel, make artificial lures, modify fishing equipment, refurbish fishing equipment, identify insects that fish eat, and explore career opportunities. To complete this project you must do a minimum of six activities per level in the manual as well as participate in at least three additional learning experiences, such as giving a demonstration, exhibiting at the fair, visiting a tackle shop or other activities to expand your knowledge.
