Swine

You will go “hog wild” over these swine resources! The series of three youth guides and Helper’s guide cover topics about breeds, body parts, and how to manage and keep healthy a pig. Youth will explore breeding and designing a swine operation as well as other career opportunities. The resource guide covers everything you ever wanted to know about swine from history, selection, quality, products, nutritional value, digestive system, disease & control, ear notching, space requirements, showing, selling, as well as breeding management. “This little piggy” certainly gets covered from snout to tail!  You must complete a minimum of seven activities and three learning experiences per level to complete this project.
