Embark on a journey to leadership through Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF). The Arizona group will be participating in Week 4 of CWF. Learn what citizenship is and what it means to you. Discuss and think about national and community-based topics. Have the opportunity to meet youth from around the nation.
Location: National 4-H Youth Convention Center, Chevy Chase, Maryland
Activities
- Plan a trip to Capitol Hill and try to meet with one of Arizona's United States Senators or Representatives.
- Visit the Washington National Cathedral, Arlington National Cemetery, Smithsonian Institution and many other places.

14 - 19 years old by December 31, 2012
Cost
- The approximate cost of the whole trip ranges from $1600-$1800 which includes registration fees, lodging, airfare, ground transportation while in D.C. and MOST meals.
- The 4-H Youth Foundation will provide a $400 scholarship per county which is available to the first six counties who send in applications. This amount can be used by one applicant or split among several applicants in your county.
- A $300 personal commitment deposit is due with your application packet. A second deposit of $300 will be due by March 25, 2013. The remaining balance owed will be due the beginning of May. Fund-raising ahead of time is very important.
Applications must be signed and postmarked to Arizona 4-H Office by JANUARY 7, 2013
